Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or buy, we may earn a commission from that provider — at no extra cost to you. Our scoring, rankings, and "best for" verdicts are not influenced by which providers pay us.
How we identify affiliate links
- Every outbound link to a provider that pays us a commission carries
rel="nofollow sponsored"(per Google's link attribution guidance). - Pages where any link is monetized show an inline notice near the call-to-action.
- Provider profile pages indicate "Affiliate: YES / NO" in the Quick Facts panel.
What we do NOT do
- We do not change provider scores, axis rankings, or verdicts based on commission rate.
- We do not exclude providers because they have no affiliate program — non-affiliate providers (e.g. Databento, Polygon.io / Massive, Nasdaq Data Link) are listed and compared on equal footing.
- We do not insert sponsored copy into "Best For" or "Not Ideal For" sections.
- We do not write reviews paid for by providers.
How we make money
Commissions from broker, prop firm, and (where available) data-API affiliate programs. We do not run display advertising. We do not sell user data. We do not collect personally identifiable information beyond what aggregate analytics provides.
Conflicts to know about
Affiliate programs differ in payout structure (one-time bounty vs revshare). We disclose program details on individual provider pages where known. Where a provider has no public affiliate program (e.g. most market-data APIs as of 2026), we still rank and review them — there is simply no monetization path on those pages.
